Website Button Photoshop Tutorial

In this tutorial we are going to create a basic web button. Here’s what you should end up with:

First create a canvas I used 400×200 and fill it with a color of your choice:

Select the Rounded Rectangle Tool by right clicking the Rectangle tool (if selected)

Here is what I used:

Make the shape you would like:

Right click the Shape layer and Click Rasterize Layer:

Now right click the layer again and click blending options:

Enter these settings:

Now set the layers Fill to 0%:

Add some text to it and you’re done!
